"I want to contribute and make a difference, and I truly believe in Ports Group's role in today's ongoing digitalization"
Welcome to Ports Group Patrik! Who are you, and what have you done prior to this?
I am a very sports interested guy, originally from Gothenburgs archipelago, and economist who early in my career found myself in the Telecom- and IT business. During the years I have gone from large enterprises to smaller companies and realized that I appreciate and find it more stimulating to be a part of a some what smaller business. Things tend to go faster there, and there are more possibilities to contribute and make a difference.
What was it that made you end up at Ports Group?
When I was contacted about the role I honestly did not know that much about the company, but two things really convinced me that I wanted to be a part of it. First, the people I met during the recruitment process gave a really nice and down-to-earth impression. Secondly, I really believe in the important role that Ports Group plays in the ongoing digitization we can see today.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
With the expertise and the extensive knowledge that exists within these walls it is my hope that I, together with my new colleagues, will be able to contribute to how Ports Group will stay successful and well placed growth company.
Patrik did his first day the 12 august, and the press release (in Swedish) can be found HERE
