How secure is your brand?

Email fraud is one of the most common threats towards brands. DigiCert, one of the world's largest providers of digital security, is now testing through a new Verified Mark Certificate (VMC), a process for verifying email senders.
A precondition for VMC is that the applicant has a legal trademark registration (logotype) and thus can show their right to the trademark. With a VMC, the logo is visible in the sender's mail and the recipient can directly determine if the sender is legitimate. VMC is likely to be standard by next year.
